David Steele
There he was, with that wonderful shock of white hair which thrilled so many England supporters in the 70's. Mr Cool himself, David Steele making his third appearance at the Society.
.What a wonderful evening he gave us with tales of players past and present, of heroic deeds and comedy antics. The questions were so numerous that it was turned 11 o'clock before the meeting came to a halt.
It was a great turnout of members and guests for our first meet of the 2008/9 season and we look forward to welcoming all and sundry to our next dinner on December 11th. when Henry Olonga will be addressing us.
The Society would like to express their thanks to David for coming and providing a great evenings entertainment.
