March Dinner
12th March 2009
Kevin Emery
Last evening we were treated to a rare selection of stories by a player who probably had the quickest rise to fame of any living cricketer. He played alongside Malcolm Marshall for Hampshire and took 83 wickets in 1982 before he was sadly laid low by an injury, which put paid to an almost certain international career.
Kevin Emery's talk was interspersed with stories of the legends he met along the way and he told each one in the subject's dialect. Hilarious.
This brought to an end a very successful season and thanks are due to all who made these nights possible.
