The Captain and the Trophy
Mark Chilton ex Lancashire Captain gave as a very entertaining talk on his own cricket career from childhood to the present day. What dedication a cricketer must have to reach the top level in the sport!
We were fortunate to have the Championship Trophy (brought by Mark) at the meeting and many photographs of our members were taken with the cup. Mark went on to describe the very successful Championship season of Lancashire CC and being a very proud member of the team that brought the trophy back to Lancashire. He also entertained us playing his guitar with tunes that we all knew. What a PLAYER!
