LUIS WINS COVETED TROPHY
Seventeen year old Luis Reece of Blackpool Cricket Club and Lancs. C.C.C. Academy was presented with the Bert Watts Trophy last night in recognition of his being our Young Player of the Year.
The ceremony was performed by Luke Sutton the Lancashire Wicketkeeper who followed the presentation with a scintillating talk on his career at Somerset, Derbyshire and Lancashire and gave a fascinating account of the mysteries standing behind the stumps to the bowling of the great Muralitheran.
The talk was preceded by a magnificent Christmas Dinner which was enjoyed by over 60 members and guests.
