we just love cricket
Welcome
The Committee and the members of the Fylde Coast Cricket Society welcome you and invite you to view their website full of information about the society.
Who are we?
The Fylde Coast Cricket Society are supporters of cricket who meet once a month from November to March for an evening of cricket conversation and a dinner at the Queens Hotel in Blackpool. At each dinner a guest speaker is invited to give the society members a talk and to take a short question and answer session.

Another season of dinners has come to an end. The Committee of the Society would like to take offer their thanks to our guest speakers and to our loyal members for their support over the past five months. We look forward to welcoming you all to the next season of dinners that will commence in November of this year.

Planning for 2009 - 10 dinners is already under way with the Secretary and the Speakers Secretary busy and there are a number of names in the frame for our future guests. We rely totally on raising funds through the dinners and the support of the members is vital if the Society is to continue. Please use the summer months to encourage any of your friends with an interest in our game or in sport to consider attending a dinner next season. New members are always welcome!
The provisional dates for the 2009 - 10 dinners have been set: -
- November 19th 2009
- December 10th 2009
- January 14th 2010
- February 18th 2010
- March 18th 2010
The dates will be confirmed at a committee meeting planned for July. Most of the speakers have also been provisionally arranged but we await confirmation before releasing details.
